Motomu Toriyama, director of Final Fantasy XIII, has announced on the official European site that development of the English version of the game is now complete. He says that the English game was developed simultaneously with the Japanese version to ensure a smaller gap between Japanese and international releases. Apparently all they’re waiting for is an approval of the master disc. It’s a shame they can’t bring the international release date forward.

Instant 80,000 Gil profit (FFXI Gil buying)

Unlimited Homepoint Warp Scrolls
A very simple way to get as many warp scrolls as you can free! Must use before summerfest is over! This
is so simple it will make your heads hurt!

1. Get a homepoint close to the Summerfest Moogle
2. Get a partner and group with them.
3. Both of you talk to the moogle.
4. Find the goalpoint and touch it. (optional you can do this over and over on with just 1 partner without
even finding the goalpoints)
5. Now go attack a monster and die!
6. You are now back at the home point, if you look in your inventory you will still have the teleport scroll
for that city in your inventory.
7. Now go to your home and put the scroll in your safe.
8. Go back to the moogle and talk to him again. Even if you didnt find the goalpoint the moogle will
simply give you another warp scroll and tell you to try again!

You can do this in every single city you find a summerfest moogle. Rack em up ladies and gentlemen!
Summerfest lasts only so long! Also, dont worry about xp losses when you die. The quest limits you to
level 1, so when you die the xp loss is very small.

Speed Exploit (FFXI cheap)

If you use windower, and I assume most of you do, there is a very easy speed exploit you could use.

Try it out: open up your clock, change the hour from 12:12:12 to 1:00:12 (don’t need to change the seconds), hit apply, then change it to 1:30:20 (I change the seconds for the second time), hit apply again, then OK.

You will automatically begin to go super fast. It will be hard to control, but you’ll get used to it.

If it doesn’t work the first time (ie. you’re still goin the same speed), then just do it again.

Works while on choco’s, with flee, anytime.

PS. You may have to logout and log back in to zone sometimes. Always carry a scroll of instant warp or a warp cudgel, because in some areas or towns you may fall into a place where you can’t move, and you need to get outta there.

Airship Pass Tip! (Final Fantasy x2 ending)

Hey folks,
I was sort of suprised to find out how few people know about this but there is an easier way to get those beginner missions done for rank. Here’s what you do:

*If you have a main with 500k gil at least and can get to Jeuno, that would be best.
1. Get your new character to Jeuno from any starter city. I did this at level 1 and didn’t get aggroed. It shouldn’t be too hard.
2. Go to lower Jeuno and go where the AH is and go in the Chamber of Commerce house.
3. Talk to one of the people behind the desks and he will offer to sell you an airship pass usable forever if you have 500k on you. (I don’t think he will ask if you don’t have the money)
4. Go ahead and buy it and use it! This helps ALOT if you have a new character and are wanting good easy access to Jeuno early and getting those rank quests done very easily.

Welcome to my first tutorial on leathercraft…i know theres a previous one but all it has is recipes…i decided to add a little walkthrough for it :)
My FFXI info, my name is Butterz in game on the server Kujata, if ya wanna pt sometime or use some strats on this site gimme a msg.

Recommended Extra Skills for other types of leather:
Leathercraft isnt all about just leather, some leather requires other crafts, but some leather is all leather.
Goldsmithing (a lot)
Smithing (a lot)
Bonecraft (a lot)
Clothcraft (a lot)
Alchemy (some)

Levels 1-2
Right now ALL you should be making is Sheep Leather, this is made by 1 of these 3 recipes:
Wind Crystal + Goblin Mask x1
Dark Crystal + Windurt Tea Leaves x1 + Distilled Water x 1 + Sheepskin x1
Dark Crystal + Windurst Tea Leaves x1 + Distilled Water x 1 + Willow Log x 1
Sheep leather is VERY profitable if you farm the ingredients, windurtian tea leaves and distilled water are very cheap, you can buy a stack for maybe 300 each depending on the server, im on Kujata.
Sheepskin is found….well on sheep, dark crystals are found on Forest Funguar in West Ronfaure, and winds are found on winged creatures.
Its always best to have advanced synthesis on for this.
Note: You should keep your sheep leather for making other items in higher levels!

Levels 1-2 (OVERVIEW)
Dark Crystals: Farmed, Free
Sheepskin: Farmed, Free
Windurstian Tea Leaves: 300-500 for 12
Distilled Water: Rambrioys Grocery 200-300 for 12
Stack of sheep leather on AH: 7,500-8,000

Levels 3-4
Levels 3-4 you make some pretty good stuff, but not exactly a money saver if you sold your sheep leather…but my main focus for CASH would be Sheep wool, the recipe for sheep wool is:
Wind Crystal + Sheepskin x2
If youd rather start to make some equipment that will go for 1,200-1,500 each, here some recipes that will work well.
Vagabond’s Boots = Earth Crystal + Bronze Scales x1 + Grass Cloth x1 + Sheep Leather x2
Vagabond’s Gloves = Earth Crystal + Sheep Leather x2 + Cotton Cloth x1
(note what i did at level 4 was make Rabbit mantles, the recipe is: Earth Crystal + Grass Thread x1 + Rabbit Hide x5, after a lot of tries i got rabbit mantle +1 that sold for 4000-4500 on my server).

Levels 3-4 (OVERVIEW)
Sheepskin: Farmed, Free
Wind Crystal: Farmed, Free
Stack of Sheep Wool on AH, 7000-7800
Bronze Scales: 300-500 or Farmed
Grass Cloth: Made or bought (possibly farmed)
Sheep leather: previously made or bought (800 each)
Vagabond’s Boots/Gloves 1,200-1,500 Each at AH

Level 5
At this level you can make any of the leather gear, making something more then once can increase your chances of a +1, a full moon also increases the chance of a +1. if you need a link to the leather gear visit this site: http://ffxi.allakhazam.com/dyn/guilds/Leathercraft.html

Ok so let me tell you what me and my friend did yesterday. We both decided to try something, we made new character both elvaan warriors, got on teamspeak and starting playing. As most people know you can get to level 5 in about an hour. Now here is our strategy, at level 5 we both bought long bows 500 arrows and buttefly axe. We then bought some selbina milk which is really cheap in Sandoria NPC right near the auction house and bought 2 stacks of Meat MIthkabob which on my server goes for around 3k a stack. Now we head out and focus on fightin only Even Match and Decent Challenge. To our suprise at level 5 with Mithkabobs we was hitting for around 30-50 damage with bows and 20-40 with axe. So we stand back both fire shot and if both shots hit most time they would just die or if they didnt we stand still and when they got close we both took a swing and then they died. Doing this we was able to kill Even match/decent challenge mobs without getting hit or at most getting hit for 10-15 hp of damage. So your talking about experience around 25-80 for almost instant kills. We did this all the way to level 12 in one night. Approximately 5 hours. Now at level 12 we are using the Royal Archer’s Longbow and the Great Axe. Now we are hitting with our bows vs Even match and Decent Challenge for about 60-90 damage for regular attacks with our bows and almost the exact same for our Axe’s. So we are still almost one hit killing stuff or at least killing it before it can get no more then 1 attack off netting in exp around 25-100 still. So we just non stop walk in circles fightin Even match / Decent Challenge mobs withouth hardly ever having to rest and netting large amounts of experience over time. It is much faster to kill 4 mobs for 45 exp each then to kill an IT or VT mob for 200 exp then have to rest right after and possibly die if you dont get your hits in. Doing this is safe, no chance of dieing and you get super fast exp gains. So from character creation to level 12 we managed to get there in about 7 hours using just meat mithkabobs and fighting even match /decent challenge mobs.

Edit: Thought id just throw in this handy macro for using bow/mellee weapon with a warrior.
/ra <t>
/wait 5
/a <t>

Using that macro you will fire shot then go right into combat mode which helps because after you hit it, the mob will aggro and by the time it gets to you ,your already taking a swing at it. Also as soon as you take a swing with your axe you can hit that macro again and take another shot with bow asap resulting in 2 fast attacks for huge amount of damage. Suprisingly either of us rarely ever miss vs even match /decent challenge mobs.

With todays prices and todays newbs, getting to 75 can be tough. So me and 5 friends decided to beat the system.

Here is what this exploit requires…
1 level 30 job
5 friends to act as a static group
1 CoP expansion pack
Your limit break quests need to be done if you want to go all the way
Also you should have the quest part done to be able to enter the Promyvions.

Alrighty then, here is what we did. It was quite simple actually, we formed a gorup of all of us level 30…
Pld/War
Smn/Blm
Whm/Smn
Brd/Whm
Drk/Thf (me)
Blm/Smn

What we did is we all went into Promyvion Holla, went up to the 3rd floor where all the mobs are IT and VT. We found a nice little corner, and just started pulling. We managed 9 levels in the first week, and we would all just log out where we were and log back in when we decided to get together and level some more. The nice thing about this is that we were all still lvl 30 in there, but with the cap gone we were leveling up, so that means we wouldnt have to buy lvl 40 armor/weapons, lvl 50 armor/weapons, lvl 60 armor/weapons and waste cash like everyone else. The mobs still gave us good xp, and some of the drops werent so bad either. So we beat the system and got to 75 a few days ago, and I thought id share it with you. We are now helping eachother out with our AF quests since we never bothered with them. It was nice though, being able to level up without being judged by what gear we had on and having to spend 1mil+ to buy some gloves that would be the only way to get a party invite.

Ok in last few weeks i’ve been cooking and each day i log on to 27-30k profit from Jack-O-lantern they sell in ah between 6-8k each on gilgamesh
Heres a quick quide on fast leveling cooking always try to aim 8 lvl ahead for faster skill up.
